Question: Canon EOS utility was working fine with Windows 7, it stopped working after installation of Windows 10.

In your computer system open your task manager and look for background processes which are running. There should be EOS utility (32 bit) in the list. This background program detects the USB connection to the Canon Camera, and if it is not running in your Windows user that means it needs to be enabled and once it is enabled I believe, everything should be working fine.

Login with your user profile and Go to the task manager. Locate the EOS utility software on the Startup Tab, it must be in the disabled status which need to be enabled. Enable the EOS utility and restart your computer system.   Hopefully all will be fine with the EOS utility (update) working in the Administrator user ID and  the other user IDs as well.
